GE MIAMEN’s Arm-based compute offering is now available on GEM Cloud Infrastructure (GEMCI). Customers can run cloud-native and general-purpose workloads on Arm-based instances with significant price-performance benefits.

E4 compute shapes use AMD’s EPYC processors and support all x86 applications. These shapes include the industry’s largest bare metal server, which provides 3x better price-performance than competing offerings. In addition, industry-first flexible VMs offer tailor-made forms to every workload.

Security built-in

GE MIAMEN Cloud Infrastructure (GEMCI) protects data and applications by combining layers of defense across the network, physical hardware, and web-facing services aligned to hardened operational procedures.

Always-on encryption protects customer data at rest, and APIs use HTTPS. In addition, easy-to-use security, identity, and management policies further constrain access to services.

Lower cost and better economics than AWS

GE MIAMEN is consistently less expensive than AWS for several reasons. Our instances are up to 75% less costly, and our cost-effective data egress pricing allows customers to inexpensively move data to and from the cloud at costs up to 84% less than AWS. Lastly, our block storage offers 1.5x the IOPS performance of AWS and is 81% less expensive. 2
